*** IMMEA 2009 *** organized by UCAM and UPJV was the traditional meeting of the Network MeM, and the first large-scale event of the ROBOCON project. Such synergy amplified the quality of training courses on achievements of modern physics. The public-open tutorials on the trends in material science were done by leading ERs of the project. At the special session the workflow of the project was discussed and the short-time objectives were outlined. Read more...

*** PhysCompTech-2010 *** Advanced Research Workshop  "Physics of Computer Technologies" (www.physcomptech.ferroix.net) was organized by UPJV and UNICAMP in March 2010 in the International Institute of Physics in Natal (Brazil). Its   objective was to bring together the leading experts, mostly from ERA and Brazil, both from industry and Universities, working on the problems of materials and physical processes for future computer technologies to ensure the dissemination of their knowledge and innovative ideas ranging from fundamental to   applied areas   of Physics.  The multidisciplinary nature of the proposed workshop allowed to familiarize the participants with different subjects, to encourage inter-domain collaboration, and to share experience of different research fields with one another. In this way, we intend to foster the exchange of ideas and methods, to highlight the apparent and the hidden similarities of different systems and approaches, and to stimulate new and fruitful inter-Atlantic ERA-Brazil cooperation across subject frontiers, and between experimental and theoretical groups. Read more...

*** Mnanophys-2010 *** Mediterranean School on Nano-Physics (www.mnanophys.ferroix.net) was organized in Marrakech in Dec. 2010 by UCAM and UPJV in frame of ICTP-UNESCO program of foster the research in developing countries and of FP7 mobility Project ROBOCON.  The objective of the School was to give to the Master and PhD students and young researchers from developing Mediterranean and African countries the general vision of the contemporary nano-physics, practical knowledge of the modeling methods, and simulations. The special lecture was devoted to the dissemination of knowledge of possible collaboration between ERA and Mediterranean countries. Read more...

*** MIFP Meeting 2011 *** organized by partner ROMA in Mediterranean Institute of Fundamental Physics was the mid-term meeting for the Project ROBOCON, where the intermediate report was present to PO. This event was jointed with the meeting of another IRSES project SIMTECH. The highest-level European researchers were invited to organize the plenary and training lectures on various aspects of condensed matter theory.  Read more...

*** NanoEuroMed – 2011 *** (www.nanoeuromed.ferroix.net) was the meeting organized by UPJV and UCAM jointly with Ukrainian colleagues from Uzghorod University that gathered together the leading scientists in Multifunctional Nanomaterials  from different Partner Poles with objective to consolidate the research efforts around the  EC technological space. Researchers from EU, East Europe and Mediterranean countries will present the recent advances in processing, structure, properties, modeling and applications of multi-functional nanomaterials and technologies. *** IMMEA 2011 *** (www.immea.ferroix.net) followed the series of UMMEA meetings organized in 2003- 2011 in different Mediterranean countries by UCAM and UPJV and attracted the well-known researchers from Maghreb and ERA. The continuation, development and integration of the MeM network into international research structures were the principal objectives of the congress that was organized in frames of the European FP7 mobility programs IRSES-ROBOCON and TERACAN. Special attention was given on promoting the knowledge transfer, networking and international cooperation in the broad area of materials science. Participation of young researchers was highly welcomed.  Read more...

*** ISNP 2011*** The International School of Nanophotonics and Photovoltaics was held on September 2011 in Maratea (PZ), Italy by partner ROMA. The School was devoted to training in the science and technology of Micro and Nanophotonics and in recent advances in  BEC. Introductory lectures and advanced seminars led the attendee to the world of modern micro/nanostructured optical systems and to the physics of light-matter interaction in low dimensional conductors. School was combined with the project meeting of the European IRSES project ROBOCON.  Read more...

*** MIFP-Latin America 2012 *** meeting was organized by UNICAMP in Brazil in frame of the ROBOCON Project with the objective to amplify the REA-South America scientific relations. Many participants of IRSES-ROBOCON provided the training courses for ESR from EC and Brazil. This became possible due to the synergy of secondments of several participants of the Project to UNICAMP.  Read more...

*** SURFOCAP 2012 *** was the closing conference of the ROBOCON organized in Marrakech by UCAM. This workshop was devoted to the aspects of functionalized surfaces and their applications. In particularly the 2D surface- and interface- provided BEC was discussed at special session of ROBOCON in relation with recent advances in the fields of use of specific materials for the development of technological micro-systems.
